Drone Detection
Drone Detection
A New Generation of Drone Threats
Low-cost drones are now used for illegal surveillance, smuggling, sabotage, and intrusion into critical infrastructure. Traditional detection technologies face major blind spots:
- Autonomous drones operating without radio control, rendering them undetectable by Radio Frequency scanning.
- Non-metallic, low-flying airframes that remain invisible to radar.
- Optical systems are unable to monitor vast areas of the sky in real time.
Airspace security requires a new approach.
ACOUSTIC DETECTION
PLUG & PLAY DEPLOYMENT
Drone Detection
Listening to the sky. Protecting what matters.
Are you protected… enough?
Where traditional systems fail, acoustics reveals what others cannot see.
THE ULTIMATE STANDALONE LAYER
Modern drones evade Radio Frequency detection and radar through autonomous flight, cellular connectivity, low-altitude trajectories, and non-metallic airframes.
Acoustics represents the definitive, all-encompassing solution for total airspace detection
EDGE AI ACOUSTICS
Askalon detects all drones by sound, using embedded AI for real-time identification, without any emission or external signal.
LEGAL BY DESIGN
Non-intrusive technology, GDPR-compliant, 24/7 operation, grid or solar powered, OTA updates and lifetime warranty.

What is the detection range and delay?
Detection range is 1 km. Sub-second alert response.
What types of drones can you detect?
We detect all kinds of drones through their acoustic signature, including 4G, low-flying platforms that can evade traditional RF or radar-based detection. No drones can escape this.
Why acoustic detection instead of RF or radar?
RF and radar have persistent blind spots: some drones are not radio-controlled, others fly low with non-metallic frames, and optical systems struggle at scale. Acoustics solves the detection equation where all other sensors fail.
Does it work if the drone has no radio control or uses cellular/fiber/AI navigation?
Yes. Our detection does not rely on radio emissions. If a drone operates without a classic controller signal, it can still be detected by sound.
Does the system actually work in high-noise environments like city centers, busy highways, or near airports?
Our system thrives in high-noise environments. Unlike legacy sensors that get overwhelmed, our networked architecture uses intelligent node placement to maintain a lock on drone signatures. Even near airports or highways, the built-in redundancy ensures that background noise is filtered out while the drone remains tracked across the grid.
How complex or time-consuming is the installation process?
Deployment takes less than one minute. Our system is designed for true plug-and-play operation. Whether on a pole, a wall, or a rooftop, each node can be mounted instantly. It offers total flexibility, running either on standard grid power or with complete autonomy via solar panels. No complex configuration, no downtime—just immediate airspace security.
Is the system non-intrusive? Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Our system is non-intrusive and fully GDPR-compliant. It filters out all environmental noise to focus exclusively on drone signatures, and as a passive technology, it produces zero radar or Radio Frequency emissions.

Our clients say
As the Chief Operations Officer of a highly sensitive munitions storage site, security is our top priority. On a technical level, the performance is remarkable. But beyond the technology itself, we were impressed by the team’s quality of service: their availability, adaptability, and constant follow-up make Askalon a partner we can truly trust.
Nicolas L.
Intellectual property is the most valuable asset of our robotics company. Thanks to Askalon, we realized that the number of drone intrusions was higher than we thought, which allowed us to take the appropriate measures to protect our interests.
